LoreFuel — Privacy Policy

LoreFuel (“we”, “the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account information — the email address you sign up with.
• Your reading activity — the books you add to your shelf, the chapters you log, your reading goals and reading speed, quiz attempts, and any review summaries you write.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple; we never see your payment-card details.

We do not collect your contacts, your location, or advertising identifiers.

How we use it

Only to provide the app: to keep your shelf and progress in sync across devices, generate book quizzes and summaries, track your reading goals, and manage your subscription.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run the app:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles sign-in.
• Anthropic (Claude) — generates book quizzes and grades your review summaries. Book details and the text you submit for grading are sent for this purpose.
• Google Books and Open Library — queried by ISBN, title, or author to fetch book details and cover images.
• Apple — processes subscription purchases.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and everything associated with it at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app.

Children

LoreFuel is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
